AFTER USE
The right ending starts with a local question.
Design disposal instructions around the actual collection system.
Read the product label
Look for a specific disposal instruction rather than relying on color, texture or a leaf symbol. Check whether the product identifies an industrial or home composting application.
Ask the receiving operator
Accepted materials vary between collection programs. Before supplying packaging for an organics scheme, ask the facility about its acceptance list and labeling needs.
Make the instruction easy to follow
Use language your customer understands and avoid vague promises about disappearing in nature. Review on-pack wording alongside the product documentation and local collection guidance.
Put the guide into practice.
Share your application and destination market to start a more useful packaging conversation.
